- Supporting Government Standard Frameworks in Line with the Government's Cloud-Native Transition Initiative.
Acornsoft announced on the 19th that its cloud-native PaaS platform, Cocktail Cloud, has recently completed integration and verification with the government standard framework version 4.2x and its technology stack.
Following the announcement of the 'Digital Platform Government Implementation Plan' in April last year, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS) is advancing plans for the public sector’s cloud-native and SaaS adoption, prioritizing the use of private cloud solutions in the public sector.
Starting this year, the government has been accelerating cloud support initiatives,
including the 'Cloud-Native Transition Consulting (Detailed Design)' project led by the National Information Society Agency (NIA), with numerous public institutions slated to undertake cloud-native transitions.
However, despite the central role of cloud-native PaaS platforms in these government-led transitions, there is a noticeable lack of PaaS solutions that support the government standard framework.
A company representative stated, "As a leading cloud-native platform company in Korea,
Acornsoft is committed to proactively supporting the government’s initiatives and invigorating the domestic PaaS ecosystem. Developers can move their source code to the GIT register without worrying about the underlying infrastructure, allowing them to instantly configure a cloud-native infrastructure on their desired platform."
By integrating with the government standard framework, Acornsoft’s verified PaaS solution is expected to significantly enhance the implementation of services by developers.
It facilitates the construction of stable multi/hybrid cloud environments using Kubernetes, setting up CI/CD and DevOps environments based on MSA (Microservice Architecture), and ultimately contributes to the successful completion of projects.
Youngsoo Lee, CEO of Acornsoft, stated, "We will continue to proactively support the government’s cloud-native transition initiatives and enhance our technological competitiveness to maintain our reputation as the leading domestic PaaS provider."
Acornsoft, a subsidiary of Namutech and Korea’s first cloud-native platform company, serves a diverse range of clients, including large corporations, public enterprises, public institutions, and SMEs. Recently, Acornsoft also introduced the 'Cocktail4GPU' feature, which maximizes GPU utilization amid the ongoing GPU shortage, marking a first in the domestic market.
